The tarsals, metatarsals and phalanges make up the bones of the foot.
There are seven tarsal bones arranged in two rows. The cuboid and three cuneiform bones form part of the arch of the foot, whilst
the talus is the link between the leg and foot, forming part of the ankle joint.
There are five metatarsal(MT) bones whose bases articulate with each other and with the distal row of tarsal bones. The heads articulate with the proximal phalanges at the metatarsophalangeal joints. The phalanges are made up of a proximal(PP), middle(MP) and distal(DP) row
